ENERGEL - (Stationary/Float Charging Applications)

The world’ s leading Sealed Lead Acid - Gel Electrolyte Battery for standby power systems

World leading gel technology developed and manufactured in Australia in conjunction with Telstra and the CSIRO’s world renowned Novel Battery Group. ENERGEL combines the traditional resilience and long life of vented cells with the installation and maintenance benefits of sealed batteries.

Avoid the problems of other Sealed Lead Acid batteries

ENERGEL’s high concentration silica gel electrolyte design together
with specially engineered active material provides unsurpassed resistance to thermal runaway, negative bus bar corrosion and general abuse such as high temperature ripple. The ENERGEL incorporates the world’ s best post seal system to avoid leakage.

Better than other Gelled Electrolyte batteries

A major cause of battery failure is negative plate self discharge. The
use of ultra pure lead in the ENERGEL Batteries eliminates this problem giving a greater charging window and extending the life of the battery.

20 Year design life (at 250C Cell temperature/ambient)

  • The use of ultra pure lead active material together with very thick positive grids and advanced high tin alloys inhibits corrosion and plate growth and gives a longer life battery.

  • Backed by a 10 Year Warranty, with the first 5 years being a Full Replacement Guarantee

Other benefits of the ENERGEL Batteries

  • Designed to Australian Standard AS:4029.2

  • Manufactured in Australia to ISO9001

  • Flame retardant casing to UL94V-O and BS6334 FVO requirements

  • Text Box: 110 Volt - 650 A/H Battery Bank
CTDG approved for transport as non-dangerous goods to UN2800

  • Longer life with a 250C Design operating temperature - Imported batteries are only 200C
